"I had been coaching goalkeepers for years under different soccer clubs and organizations but I was not able to do things the way I thought they should be done, I was getting paid by the hour and the club was making the money off my hard work and experience. That's when I found J4K and I decided to start doing things the J4K way because it was everything I wanted my school to be plus much more. Having Ray Newland alongside me was the only thing I needed because he guided me every step of the way to set up the infrastructure of J4K Canada.

It took me two years working part time but I am proud to say that I have been working full time now with J4K as of the Summer of 2008 and I have never felt so good getting up to go to work.

Our Support:

When J4K UK was started it took nearly three years and a five-figure fee to get it to the stages were it was earning only a part time income. It was not until we were going into our fourth year that we accidentally stumbled on a few promotional tricks that saw the J4K coaching schools explode in the UK.

For the goalkeeper coaches who team up with J4K, all the legwork has been done for you, so not only will you save time you will also save thousands of dollars. One part of our support system you will receive a 200 paged 'How to Manual'. This manual is the proven blue print to J4K and consists of SIX YEARS of our experiences building our company! The ethics from the J4K coaches is second to none towards our students and we constantly go the extra mile for them. Even though we charge our students a fee to train at J4K, money is not our motivator.

We genuinely want to help our students to develop and progress.

Also the present J4K coaches are loyal to each other and offer help and support. Any new coach who joins our winning team must have similar ethics.

Our ideal J4K Coach:

• Who has actually played in goal to a high standard? (from Semi-Pro To Pro)
• Who genuinely wants to be a goalkeeper coach
• Who generally has an interest in their students
• Who is willing to develop themselves as a better coach
• Even though they will be in their own business, willing to work as part of the J4K team
• Has a strong desire to be their own boss
• Willing to work hard, to develop their own business.
• Ideally to be qualified to level 3. (We will consider people without qualifications but who have experience)

Cost:

To chase off the time waster we will have to charge a fee because it is a proven fact that people will only put 100% into a venture if they have put their own hard earned income forward.

However, if you check out other opportunities that offer a similar package to J4K you will see that their prices are much more expensive. The reason why we charge a low fee structure is because one, we do not need the money and more importantly two, we are more interested in building a National coaching organisation with a strong team of dedicated decent, honest and genuine coaches.

FAQ's

How much money will I make?

The earning potential you can make through J4K is down to you and the effort that you put in. However to give you an idea, coaches running their own J4K business, both full time and part time, earn between $20,000- $75,000 per year.

How many hours must I put in?

Again this is down to you. Obviously in the early days the hours that you put in will be more as you promote your new business. But as you get your classes in place, the amount of hours you put in will be much less.

Also it depends how much you want to earn: If you only want to earn a few hundred dollars per week, well the hours will be minimum. However if you want to earn a lucrative income the hours that you invest will be more.

Roughly, present J4K coaches work between 5-7 hours a week. However when you look at the above wage you potentially can earn, for the hours you work (which are part time hours really) you can now see why J4K has become the No 1 Goalkeeping School in the UK.

Will it be hard work?

You do not get anything in life without hard work and building your J4K business will be no different. But once you have put the foundations in place, this business becomes very easy to run.

I have my own goalkeeper coaching schools, why do I need J4K?

Most independent goalkeeper coaching schools do not make a decent income. This is because the coach does not grasp the important issues to making their business the huge success it can become!

If you have already started your own coaching business great, J4K can assist you in expanding faster, through techniques you might never get to think about or have the money to fund.

I have no business skills:

This is why most independent coaching schools fail and will also unfortunately continue to fail! However by teaming up with J4K we will help you kick start your business and also develop you as a coach and businessperson. It will take you a little time but we will teach you the business skills needed to succeed in this environment.

I am too young or old?

You might be thinking, if you are too young people will not respect you, or if you are too old, you might not have the high energy levels needed to run your own J4K coaching business.

In most cases we will help you to get over this barrier. If we cannot, we will tell you.

I never played in goal can I set up my own Goalkeeper Schools?

We must be honest here and say that this is going to be very difficult! To coach goalkeeping you really must have played in goal, as you will not appreciate what your students are going through as they train. Also the first question potential students and their parents will ask you is: 'Who did you play for professionally in goal?' (And quite rightly, most will decline if you never succeeded in what you are teaching).

I have no coaching qualifications:

For the correct candidate this is something that we can very easily help you with, as you will be getting all our training blue prints plus the opportunity to watch present J4K coaches in action.

However we stress that you will at least need to get your Senior coaching badge to start for insurance reasons. It will be a requirement from J4K that you develop yourself with further coaching qualifications. But doing it our way gives you the flexibility to earn as you learn!

I was an ex professional goalkeeper does this guarantee me success?

Definitely not! This is because the transition from professional level to grassroots level for many keepers who have played the game professionally is too much. The minority will achieve this but most ex professional goalkeepers end up coaching for professional clubs, or professional club academies, which I believe, is the best option for most ex professionals. However if you are humble enough to learn, you can earn potentially double, even quadruple the wage an academy coach earns!

I want to join J4K when can I start?

Generally you will be looking at 8- 10 weeks after our initial interview. The reason for this delay is because we want to make certain that you are ready before you start and roughly this time period is what it will take for J4K to prepare and train you. We will then continue to train you over the following weeks/months because we have designed our development programme so you EARN as you learn!
